For starters, as soon as you sign up for the Mixxxer site, you’re going to be getting a whole lot of fake messages from robots. These messages will come to you and seem like legitimate notes from women who really just want to have a good time, but they’re not. In order for you to be able to respond to them, you’re going to have to pay to upgrade your account. This in itself should be a giant red flag that the site is trying to get something out of you that it’s not earning.
If a hookup site is legit, then they shouldn’t have to force you to upgrade in order to use their services. Their product should be good enough that so many people use it, they can sell ad space to other companies for their revenue. This is how a lot of the real sites work, and it’s a model that works well as long as what they have to offer is real. When it comes to places like this, though, they know that what they’re offering is totally fake and no one would use the place if they knew what was in store.
Even after you upgrade your account you might still get some messages and even interact with people online. Once again, this is all fake. The people behind these profiles are paid actors by the site who only want to give you the impression that you might be able to meet up at some point.
Unfortunately, this is never going to happen. They have no intention of your relationship ever being anything more than that of a scammer and a mark. One look at the profile pictures should be enough to tell you that they’re just too good to be true, and that’s exactly the case here.
This site isn’t worth anyone’s time. No matter how much you want to believe that this place has something to offer you, it never will. They’re just going to take your money and give you nothing in return. If they were a legitimate business then they would be able to survive on other means of income, rather than making you pay to respond to your messages. Whenever you see this kind of thing, run away as fast as you can. It’s the mascot for dating scams on the Internet.
